Daily Maintenance

• Use a lint roller or soft bristle brush to remove loose hair, dust, and dirt.

• Avoid using hard bristle brushes, as they can snag or damage the cords.

Your Two Knotted Mares breast collar is machine washable! 🙌

Follow these steps for safe and effective cleaning:

**Remove Conchos, Tassels, and Tugs before washing.**

1. Place your breast collar inside a laundry bag or pillowcase to protect the hardware and fibers.

2. Use a gentle cycle with cold water.

3. Add a small amount of mild detergent (no bleach or harsh chemicals).

4. Once finished, remove promptly and hang to air dry.

🚫 Do NOT place your breast collar in the dryer. Heat can damage the fibers and shape.

Prefer a gentler touch? Follow these steps:

1. Fill a basin with lukewarm water and add mild detergent.

2. Gently agitate to create suds.

3. Submerge the breast collar and let it soak briefly.

4. Agitate again, then rinse thoroughly with cold water.

5. Gently squeeze out excess water (do not wring).

6. Hang to air dry.

• Tackle stains as soon as you see them.

• Use mild detergent or a 50/50 vinegar and water solution on a clean cloth.

• Blot, don’t scrub! - to lift the stain without damaging the weave.
